Klemchuk Kubasta LLP (www.kk-llp.com) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a DFW Women In IP event on September 9, 2009.  The event will be co-sponsored by Haynes and Boone and brings together a powerhouse of women intellectual property attorneys in the Dallas-Fort Worth area – both in private practice and in-house – for an evening of networking.

DFW Women in IP is an informal group of about 80 attorneys who regularly attend monthly luncheons in smaller groups of 5-10 attorneys.  The group was founded and is currently led by Shannon Bates of Conley Rose, Wei Wei Jeang of Haynes and Boone, and Genie Hansen of Hemingway & Hansen as a means for women in IP to network in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  As Roxana Sullivan, an associate at Klemchuk Kubasta LLP and member of the group, recently commented, "the group provides an excellent opportunity to meet and network with women who practice in the field of intellectual property.  But most importantly, the Women in IP lunches provide an opportunity to build lasting relationships and to enhance one's practice by an active exchange of ideas."
